创作这首歌的歌手K'naan，出生在索马里的一个艺术之家，由于国内局势动荡，13岁随家人移居加拿大，但他仍然心系索马里，创作的很多歌曲都和索马里局势相关。《飘扬的旗帜》是他今年2月底发行的专辑《游吟诗人》中的一首歌，歌曲带有浓郁的非洲气息，表达了对这片充满战火、贫穷和落后的土地不离不弃的热爱。

这首歌本来写的是以一个战地儿童的视角，表达在现实的挣扎、对自由的企盼、和对战争的控诉。全曲洋溢着浓郁的人文关怀。

作者简介

现居加拿大的克南出生于索马里的艺术家庭。祖父哈吉穆罕默德是一个诗人，姐姐马谷尔（Magool）是索马里最有名的歌手。后来由于索马里内战导致局势恶化，13岁的克南随家人移民美国然后辗转到加拿大。《旗帜飘扬》出自克南的第三张专辑《游吟诗人（Troubadour）》。
